Now we don't claim to have a crystal ball, but based on "market history" we can give you a few hints as to when, historically, people have chosen to list and sell their properties.

Typically, the best months to sell your house are May, June, and July. "Why?, you ask. Because in the beginning of the year people are recovering from the holidays and prepping for their taxes. While at their accountant they learn that it would be wise for them to consider purchasing a home and qualifying for larger tax deductions. Another factor is, families like to move when the children are out of school for summer and the weather is better. So spring and summer tend to be busier.

Another time to consider selling your house is when you have out grown it and are ready to move up to a larger home.
